Cathleen-Florentine Woelcke has been a research associate at NEUWERK in the labor law practice group since June 2026.
She studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, specializing in “Labor, Business, and Social Affairs.” During her studies, she received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation and spent a semester in the LL.M. program at Duke Law School in the United States. She successfully passed her first state examination in 2025.
During and after her studies, Cathleen-Florentine Woelcke gained practical experience in labor law at the international commercial law firms DLA Piper, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and Hogan Lovells. There, she deepened her knowledge in various areas of individual and collective labor law and assisted in providing labor law advice to companies in a wide range of matters.
Since February 2026, she has been pursuing her doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Matthias Jacobs at Bucerius Law School on a topic related to labor law. At NEUWERK, she supports labor law advisory services and litigation for companies and executives.
