Jens Schenk is an associate at NEUWERK in the area of conflict resolution and litigation.
He advises and represents clients in commercial disputes out of court and in state courts.
He completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg and held positions, among others, at the Labor Court, an international law firm and NEUWERK in his current field of activity.
He completed his dissertation on "Diversity and Unity of Dominant Influence - A Comparison of Verbund Concepts in Corporate, Accounting and Competition Law" in 2019. During his doctoral studies, he worked at the Chair of Civil Law, Commercial and Corporate Law and Legal Theory with Prof. Dr. Thilo Kuntz, LL.M. (University of Chicago) in Bremen and in the Corporate/M&A practice group of the law firm Linklaters in the Hamburg office.
Jens Schenk studied law at the University of Bremen and "Comparative and European Law (LL.B.)" at the Hanse Law School of the Universities of Oldenburg and Bremen. During a one-year study program at the University of Warwick (Great Britain) he obtained the Certificate in English Law.
