Tim is an Associate at NEUWERK in the Corporate/M&A department.
He advises companies, founders and investors on M&A transactions, carve-outs, joint ventures and financing rounds. In addition, Tim advises on all aspects of partnership and corporate law.
Tim studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg with a focus on corporate and capital markets law and at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
He completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg. During his legal clerkship, he worked in the corporate/M&A practice groups of the major international law firms Hogan Lovells and Norton Rose Fulbright as well as at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in the Senate for Banking Law. Prior to this, he gained practical experience as a research assistant at White & Case in the area of project financing.
Following his legal clerkship, he completed a Masters of Law (LL.M.) with honors at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. After completing his Masters, he worked for some time for the American law firm Quarles & Brady in the area of Corporate/M&A, also in Chicago.
