Katharina Jule Engler is Counsel at NEUWERK. As a member of NEUWERK’s highly acclaimed real estate team, she advises companies, institutional investors and project developers from Germany and abroad on all aspects of commercial real estate law.
Since joining NEUWERK in 2018, Katharina Jule Engler has advised on numerous market-defining real estate projects. Her practice focuses on advising complex property-related transactions and project developments, in particular asset and portfolio transactions as well as sale and lease back transactions. This involves supporting her clients throughout the entire life cycle of a property – from structuring and transaction execution, through the realisation of challenging project developments, to letting and ongoing property-related legal consulting.
Her more notable mandates include, amongst others, advising Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield on the development and letting of the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, advising on cross-border sale-and-leaseback transactions and portfolio transactions for institutional investors. Katharina Jule Engler has been repeatedly recommended in the Handelsblatt ranking “Best Lawyers – Ones to Watch” for her expertise in real estate law.
