NEUWERK Signs Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter)

Diversity is an integral part of NEUWERK's culture, and we are committed to promoting it. That’s why we speak openly about our values and take action. By signing the Charta der Vielfalt (Diversity Charter) (https://www.charta-der-vielfalt.de/), NEUWERK has joined a nationwide network for diversity.

To date, 5,900 organizations have signed the Charta der Vielfalt, representing approximately 15 million employees. The initiative is supported by Reem Alabali-Radovan, Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor and Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees, and Integration, as well as for Anti-Racism. The Federal Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, serves as the patron of the Charta der Vielfalt e.V.

At NEUWERK, we fully support the initiative’s goal of fostering a prejudice-free working environment, where all employees—regardless of age, ethnic origin, nationality, gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion, ideology, sexual orientation, or social background—are equally valued.

Diversity is essential to our democracy and plays a crucial role in the success of our society. The workplace, where people from different backgrounds come together daily, is fundamental to this. It is vital that we promote democratic values, especially in the workplace. In a culture where diversity is embraced, every employee can realize their full potential, which also encourages innovation and strengthens the diversity of ideas and products the organization represents.

We recognize the importance of standing up against those who threaten our open society, as they pose a risk to both our democracy and Germany’s economy.
