NEUWERK appoints further partner from its own ranks: Louisa Salger becomes partner as of 1 July 2025

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Louisa Salger as partner at NEUWERK.

Louisa has been a lawyer at NEUWERK since 2018, specializing in dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration. Over the past several years, she has played an instrumental role in building our highly successful dispute resolution team and contributing to the development of the firm as a whole. The dispute resolution team now comprises three partners and six associates. With a total of eleven partners – five of whom are women – and 23 associates, we continue to pursue our path of organic growth and reaffirm our long-term commitment to legal excellence and the targeted development of outstanding legal talent.

Louisa advises on all aspects of civil dispute resolution. She supports clients in resolving conflicts both pre-litigation and in court proceedings. She regularly represents German and international clients in complex disputes before state courts and in arbitration proceedings – under all major institutional arbitration rules as well as in ad hoc proceedings. Her core areas of expertise include commercial disputes in international arbitration and corporate litigation.

Louisa’s recent work includes asserting damages claims in the millions on behalf of a Tier 1 automotive supplier in an ICC arbitration; pursuing license fee claims against a U.S. pharmaceutical company, also in an ICC arbitration; and defending a German pharmaceutical company against multimillion-euro payment claims brought by various international claimants under a sale and purchase agreement in a DIS arbitration. She also regularly advises several publicly listed automotive suppliers, including in negotiations with automotive manufacturers over price increases.
