NEUWERK and CORVEL advise Arcadea on the acquisition of Zedas

Hamburg, May 24, 2024 - NEUWERK has advised Canadian private equity investor Arcadea on the acquisition of the Brandenburg-based IT company Zedas.

Zedas, based in Senftenberg and founded immediately after the fall of the Berlin Wall, offers software solutions for logistics management in long-distance and shunting traffic as well as for the management of vehicle fleets and infrastructure. A particular focus is on the use of artificial intelligence. The management team around founder and CEO Wolfgang Jahn will remain on board after the takeover.

NEUWERK advised on intellectual property, information technology and data protection issues in the transaction, supporting the transaction team of the Hamburg law firm CORVEL.
