Sina Torshizi began his law studies at the University of Hamburg after completing the Preparatory Course for foreign students in Hamburg. During his studies, he worked as a student research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Hamburg in the department "The Law of Islamic Countries". Concurrently, he worked for two years as a voluntary advisor at the Refugee Law Clinic Hamburg under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nora Markard.
